Therapist / Associate Therapist Allendale Behavioral Health Fort Wayne, IN Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week | In person Setting: Inpatient Mental Health & Psychiatric Treatment Position Overview Allendale Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Therapist to provide individualized therapeutic care to adults receiving inpatient mental health and psychiatric treatment.
This position is responsible for managing an assigned caseload, developing treatment plans, providing individual and family therapy as appropriate, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient stabilization and recovery.
Associate-level clinicians are encouraged to apply.

What Youll Do Manage an assigned caseload of patients receiving inpatient mental health and psychiatric care.Complete clinical assessments and identify patient needs, strengths, and treatment goals.Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.Provide individual, family, and other therapeutic services as appropriate to patient needs and clinical programming.Establish rapport and maintain a compassionate, therapeutic relationship with patients.Provide interventions and education related to coping skills, emotional regulation, relationships, recovery, and mental wellness.Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical observations and recommendations to the treatment team.Respond appropriately to emotional or behavioral crises, including suicide risk and self-harm concerns.Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, behavioral health staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.Participate in treatment planning meetings, clinical consultations, and ongoing program development.
What Were Looking For Masters degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.Active Indiana licensure or associate-level credential, such as:LCSW / LSWLMHC / LMHCALMFT / LMFTALCAC / LCACAPsyD, as applicable Associate-level clinicians actively working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply.Experience in mental health, psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use treatment preferred.Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and crisis-intervention skills.Ability to build rapport with patients using a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach.Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical standards, and quality care.
