Account Manager: Industrial Sales

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Account Manager/Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Lafayette, LA area.

As a strategic member of a highly collaborative organization, the outside sales representative will Identify new business opportunities, manage assigned accounts, and support sales growth activities of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties Pursue and win projects and day-to-day businessIdentify and scope out capital projects, expansions, retrofits, etc.Update and communicate specific sales action plans to ensure success with all product linesDevelops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals within the established territoryProactively communicate opportunities across outside sales channels and with manufacturersDevelop technical knowledge to be a resource for our customer baseSpecify/recommend products to meet customer applicationsBecome subject matter expert for major product lines Qualifications and Skills Located in Lafayette, LAWorking knowledge of the process industry with experience calling on industrial and manufacturing facilities, OEMs, and engineering firms.Experience in industrial measurement and control devices and how these devices fit within the customer landscape.
