MRO Receiving and Inventory Professional
Purpose The MRO Receiving and Inventory Professional is responsible for all aspects of MRO inventory in the plant including: receiving, overall storeroom operations, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities Daily coordination of tracking, receiving, and expediting of goods and services at the plant site, and ensuring that these are delivered in a timely manner and at maximum total cost benefit Knowledge and understanding of supplier site requirements to ensure safety and policy enforcement during supplier visits Responsible for picking and kitting items for maintenance jobs and work orders Champions site warehouse improvement efforts Inspects kitted items for accuracy and keeps maintenance technicians informed of completed kits and all related details Coordinates with Reliability MRO Manager for Item Master Entry Validate storeroom inventory to ensure removal of obsolete parts Electronically issues and returns all storeroom items within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and assists maintenance technicians with requisition entry Responsible for processing of all specialty tooling in the tool room Manage VMI areas for overages, stock outs and cleanliness Collect barcodes for issued inventory and submit to one location daily Maintain packaging Items, cardboard, and recycling within stores Tracks inventory and maintains appropriate warehouse inventory levels Warehouse inventory replenishment Mechanical and electrical warehouses and receiving area housekeeping Monitor all remote storeroom inventory Assists in reconciliation of inbound invoices Receive freight deliveries Unloads equipment trucks as needed Maintains a database of parts and equipment ordered Looks for cost reductions in the form of inventory reduction or elimination Provides excellent customer service for internal and external customers Model company core values Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of stockroom, inventory control, warehouse, purchasing, receiving (or a combination of all); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position Excellent organizational skills Forklift experience Mechanical and mathematical aptitude Must have demonstrated computer proficiency Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications MRO Inventory and warehouse experience Associates degree in Business, Manufacturing, Production or related field Proficient knowledge of Infor (EAM) and JD Edwards E1
