Medication Technician - Full-Time Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AMDepartment: Resident Services - HomecareLocation: Bermuda Village Retirement CommunityReports To: Director of Homecare Position Summary Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking a dependable and compassionate Full-Time Medication Technician to join our Resident Services team.

This position is responsible for safely administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents, and completing accurate documentation while providing compassionate care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, state regulations, and company policies.

Accurately document medication administration and resident care.

Manage and secure medications, including narcotic medications.

Perform medication audits and assist with medication orders as needed.

Monitor residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral conditions and report concerns promptly.

Provide diabetic care, including blood sugar testing, insulin administration, and recognizing symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.

Maintain proper infection control practices.

Assist residents with activities of daily living and other needs when necessary.

Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests and concerns.

Protect resident privacy and uphold resident rights.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.

Perform other duties as assigned.
