Job Duties and Responsibilities Performs groundskeeping and landscaping to keep lawns, flower beds, and common areas neat, healthy, and visually appealing.Manages turf health through proper mowing, edging, and seasonal treatments to maintain a lush, green landscape.Operates heavy and light equipment, including tractors, mowers, and trenchers, safely and efficiently.Executes precise grave digging in accordance with strict safety standards and cemetery guidelines.Installs headstones and markers accurately, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.Maintains irrigation systems by inspecting, adjusting, and repairing sprinkler heads and lines to ensure optimal water coverage.Trims trees and shrubs to prevent overgrowth and protect the overall landscape aesthetics.Handles general maintenance tasks, including trash removal, road upkeep, and facility repairs, to keep the property safe and clean.

Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Minimizes errors by bringing at least one year of hands-on experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general construction.Demonstrates reliability with a proven work history in physically demanding outdoor environments.

Knowledge/Skills Operates power tools and heavy machinery safely and effectively.Applies turf management principles to maintain healthy lawns and gardens.Communicates effectively with team members, supervisors, and the public with empathy and professionalism.Solves practical problems independently when facing unexpected equipment failures or weather challenges.

Preferred Qualifications Holds a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Possesses experience working in a cemetery or similar memorial park setting.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Lifts heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Stands and walks for extended periods across uneven outdoor terrain.Works in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.Bends, kneels, and reaches frequently while performing manual labor tasks.
