Restaurant Server

Compensation: $15 hourly

Responsibilities


* Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations


* Actively engage in pre-shift to obtain a thorough knowledge of any events, specials, reservations, or dietary restrictions for the shift


* Restock and clean as required, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant


* Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes


* Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly greet them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests

Qualifications


* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers


* Prior food service industry experience is highly desired


* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)


* Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills


* Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
