Delta View Post Acute is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team.

The Dietary Aide will assist with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining and kitchen environment while helping ensure our residents receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.

Responsibilities


* Assist with preparing and serving meals and beverages to residents.


* Set up and deliver meal trays according to resident diets and preferences.


* Assist with dining room and kitchen cleanup.


* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.


* Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.


* Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.


* Assist with stocking and storing food and supplies.


* Follow assigned therapeutic and special diet requirements.


* Provide courteous and respectful service to residents.


* Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments.


* Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor or Director of Food Services.

Qualifications


* Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.


* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.


* Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.


* Compassionate and respectful approach when working with residents.


* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with food service.
