Civil Engineer

RVE, an Ardurra Company, is seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineer in our Morganville, NJ Office

We are seeking engineers who want to contribute to and oversee civil/site design for a wide variety of projects, including parks, municipal infrastructure, athletic facilities, schools, higher education campuses, and industrial/commercial development.

PRIMARY DUTIES:


* Contribute to and oversee civil/site design for a wide variety of projects, including parks, municipal infrastructure, athletic facilities, schools, higher education campuses, and industrial/commercial developments.


* Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support municipal stormwater management, roadway improvements, and drainage system upgrades.


* Conduct utility coordination and support the preparation of construction documents for W/WW infrastructure.


* Assist with assigned municipal project tasks to ensure successful delivery within established scope, schedule, and budget requirements.


* Work both independently and as part of a municipal project team, using sound judgment and technical expertise with limited supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


* Proficient in AutoCAD® Civil 3d computer aided design software


* Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including, but not limited to Word Excel, PowerPoint, etc.


* Ability to solve problems


* Strong oral and written communication skills


* Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget


* Excellent time management skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent

• EIT required.

Ability to pursue Professional Engineering (PE) license 

• 4+ years’ related work experience

• Proven proficiency utilizing various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment
