Firefighter - Paramedic

Under the direction of the Fire Chief, fights fires, assist in and performs emergency medical and rescue work; participates in fire prevention, station maintenance, cooking, cleaning, and training activities; mitigates hazardous material incidents; performs relates duties as required In addition the paramedic assignment includes providing advance life support care to injured or critically ill victims.

Paramedics examine, evaluate, and treat patient condition; communicate patient condition to the base station.
