SUMMARY: This position respond to member and guest needs, promote the YMCA, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center and Lobby areas, and ensure the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA are conveyed in everything they do.JOB LOCATION: Waukee Family YMCASHIFTS AVAILABLE: Thursday 5-9 PM, Saturday 10-6 PM; maximum 20 hours a weekPAY RATE: $11.00-$13.00/hour based on qualificationsCLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: September 18, 2026 - Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, contributing to member retention.

Conduct tours responsive to the needs of prospective members; performs basic member and program transactions.

Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA.

Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.

Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services.

Maintains lobby appearance and ensure safety measures are in place.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designated staff person.

Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
