Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Senior ServiceNow Architect to be located in Raritan, NJ

Role Purpose
Serve as the primary ServiceNow Platform Architect for a designated process domain (for example: HSRD, Source2Pay, LSD).

You will own the design, delivery, sustainability and operational readiness of scalable, secure solutions on Johnson & Johnson's enterprise ServiceNow platform.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role in a large, highly governed environment where technical judgment, upgradeability, and solution quality are paramount.

Core Accountabilities


* Platform Architecture & Delivery
+ Own end-to-end platform architecture and configuration decisions to support process domains.
+ Translate business needs into scalable platform solutions that align with enterprise architectural standards and long‑term platform strategy.
+ Prefer configuration-first approaches; justify any customizations with clear cost/benefit, upgrade impact and supportability analysis.
+ Produce architecture diagrams, design docs, and implementation acceptance criteria; participate in design reviews and sprint ceremonies as required.


* Platform Engineering & Code Quality
+ Implement disciplined server-side logic using Business Rules and Script Includes with emphasis on reuse, encapsulation and testability.
+ Author and maintain performant, maintainable code and automated tests where applicable.
+ Establish and enforce coding/configuration patterns that protect upgradeability and minimize technical debt.


* Security, Access & Governance
+ Design and maintain ACLs, role/group strategies and least-privilege access models suitable for a global enterprise environment.
