Key Responsibilities



* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine required materials and dimensions.


* Select and prepare lumber or other building materials.


* Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials using saws, drills, levels, and fastening tools.


* Build structural frameworks including floors, walls, stairs, and roof decking.


* Install prefabricated components including windows and doors.


* Maintain structural accuracy and integrity using levels, plumb bobs, and squares.


* Construct scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.


* Unload, distribute, and organize materials at the jobsite.


* Follow safety guidelines and procedures in various weather and jobsite conditions.

Qualifications



* High school diploma or GED required.


* 1 year of framing or construction experience preferred—but we will train the right individual.


* Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic knowledge of hand and power tools (saw, drill, etc.).


* Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset required.


* Able to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing.


* Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.


* Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals, and reports.


* Basic math and reasoning skills.
