works on the area's most technically challenging, complex, and award-winning construction projects: Roads - Bridges & Highways - Transit Water & Wastewater - Buildings - Land Development - Port Facilities Bring your knowledge and expertise as our next Construction Manager/Resident Engineer What you will be doing: The Construction Manager/Resident Engineer oversees day-to-day construction management activities and serves as the primary representative to construction contractors and the client.

The person in this role must be able to work in the Seattle Metropolitan area able to support work within the City of Seattle and is primarily intended to perform work for SDOT projects, with additional support for City Light and SPU projects as needed and may manage multiple projects concurrently Construction Project Management responsibility background Coordinate RFIs, submittal responses, and progress payments.

Monitor project budget and schedule.

Familiar with AASHTO, FHWA, other applicable standards for work being performed, and other governing agencies' construction administration, engineering, environmental methods, standards, and policies.

Bridge and roadwork experience preferred.

Scheduling Critical path knowledge at intermediate level preferred.

Project Documentation Experience managing contracts with Federal Aid Funding documentation and requirements preferred.

Manage inspector's daily reports (IDRs) documenting quantities and quality of contractor performance.

Manage administrative documentation of meeting notes and correspondence.

Proficient in materials management, tracking, and documentation.

Technical Skills Preferred ProCore Autodesk Forma, previously (known as Build) Supervise Project Staff Strong leadership skills to mentor, train and inspire teams.

Ability to lead, advise, oversee, and manage the teams while clarifying roles and responsibilities, resolving issues and supporting staff coaching and development.
