Mission

As a Business Analyst in DSC (Digital Supply Chain)Global Journey, the candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and delivery teams.

The mission is to bring clarity to complex business needs, shape them into capabilities, features and user stories, and support delivery of scalable, customer-centric digital solutions.

The role is not limited to requirement gathering.

It requires product thinking, technical curiosity, facilitation, impact analysis, and strong collaboration across global teams.

Scope of Applications and Services

• MySchneider Software Management and related software customer journeys.

• Shop Portal capabilities supporting commercial and digital customer interactions.

• DSC APIs, shared platform services, and API-enabled business capabilities.

• Internal and third-party integrations, including localization and translation workflows such as Applanga.

• Software licensing, entitlement, subscription, order-to-delivery and customer lifecycle processes where applicable.

• Cross-application dependencies with product, commerce, platform, integration, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

3.1 Business Analysis and Product Discovery

• Elicit, analyze, challenge and document business requirements from different stakeholder groups.

• Translate business needs into capabilities, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate discovery workshops, refinement sessions and alignment discussions.

• Map current and target business processes, user journeys and operational impacts.

• Support definition of measurable customer, business and operational outcomes.

3.2 Technical Analysis and Solution Alignment

• Partner with Architects and Developers to assess solution options, constraints and trade-offs.

• Analyze impacts across APIs, microservices, integrations, data flows and dependent applications.

• Document functional requirements, integration needs, data mappings, sequence flows and non-functional considerations.

• Ensure requirements are feasible, testable, maintainable and aligned with architecture principles.

• Act as a translator between business language and technical implementation language.

3.3 Agile Delivery and Backlog Readiness

• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, demos and product clarification activities.

• Ensure work items are sufficiently ready for development and testing.

• Clarify dependencies, risks, assumptions and open decisions before execution starts.

• Collaborate with QA and business stakeholders on acceptance criteria, UAT scope and validation approach.

• Promote continuous improvement in requirement quality, team flow and delivery predictability.
