Assists in leading the daily operations of a specific unit.

Acts as a resource, lead, and clinical role model for the patient care team.

Advances and oversees patient care standards of the unit for the designated shift.

Also facilitates and coordinates patient care delivery and flow through the continuum of care.

Supports nursing professional development, Magnet, and Shared Governance through participation in, and mentoring of colleagues, on councils and the Clinical Ladder program

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, Coordinator of Patient Care Services, you are responsible for the following:

Acts as a resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.



*
Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations based on those needs.



*
Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager the Registered Nurse, Coordinator of Patient Care Services will assist the nursing staff in ensuring compassionate, safe, quality care for patients and families while also managing and influencing clinical nursing practice, and the environment in which care is provided.

Schedule


* Fulltime, 40 hours on a weekly basis


* 3pm - 11pm
