Maintenance Technician

In this role, you will help ensure safe, well-maintained housing environments while also assisting clients with transportation to critical services.
This is more than a maintenance role - its an opportunity to contribute directly to stability, dignity, and improved outcomes for individuals and families across New Hampshire.
Location: 77 Northeastern Blvd, Nashua, with in-state travel to Harbor Care properties using our vehicles Schedule: 40 Hours/Week, Monday Friday 8:00am 4:00pm
* after three months, this position will also include on-call responsibilities every third week and weekend.
What Youll Do As aMaintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of Harbor Care properties while supporting client transportation needs.
You will work across sites to address maintenance needs, respond to issues, and contribute to a high-quality living environment for the individuals we serve.
Perform routine building maintenance, including painting, minor electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC support Maintain building interiors and exteriors, including cleaning, repairs, and seasonal groundskeeping (snow removal, lawn care, etc.) Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations promptly and effectively Complete work orders, documentation, and status reporting to supervisors Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff Assist with material pickup, vendor coordination, and special projects as needed Additional Expectations Maintain appropriate tools to perform job functions Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required Participate in team collaboration and staff meetings Participate in rotating on-call shifts after hours, on weekends and holidays.
