To learn more about us and our work, visit our website: www.oppco.org WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Property Manager provides comprehensive property management and landlord services for families and individuals in the community that have a history of homelessness.
Responsible for the administration of leases, rental subsidies, coordination of entry and exits, rent collection, reporting, monitoring and compliance.
Works closely with case management team, facilities and fiscal staff.
Provides property management services in line with permanent supportive housing, housing first, and trauma informed care models.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5 PM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates renter lease set-up, file creation, ongoing renter requests and move-outs.Coordinates apartment turns and repairs with facilities staff and case management teams.Maintains rent database and monitors rent payments along with internal and external billing systems.Generates notices to staff, renters, and other landlords regarding rental/lease agreements.Generates internal reports for staff as required.Assists with generating external reports to grantors and government agencies.Participates in weekly and monthly meetings with property management, facilities, and case management teams.Ensures compliance with public funder regulations and reporting.
Depending on the property, this could include LIHTC, HOME, Housing Trust Fund, and various rental subsidy programs.Ensures the properties are in compliance with Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant laws.Fields resident complaints and concerns and responds appropriately.Problem solves with residents and other staff to come up with creative solutions for housing retention.
