Human Resources Generalist

Human Resource Generalist Provides support for the day-to-day operations of the organization.

Conducts high volume recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; coordinate new-employee orientations.

Experienced accessing a network of quality, professional crafts workers for both short- and long-term projects, with skills meeting a professional industrial services level.

Administers all human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

Experience developing and maintaining reporting, maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to regulations.

Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, audits, and communicating benefit information to employees.

Maintains and supports Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database (Kronos/UKG).

Maintains and supports compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment, I-9 compliance to include E-Verify.

Act as liaison between employees and company.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Summary: This is a high volume and high activity HR/Recruiting position, that is responsible for the recruitment of craft employees to staff heavy industrial construction projects at various locations throughout the southeast region.

Minimum Qualifications 5 or more years progressive Human Resource Generalist experience, preferably in an industrial oriented business.

Extensive capabilities in multiple database management, benefits administration, and Industrial Craft recruiting.

Experience with, but not limited to, policy administration, ACA reporting, FMLA administration, Employee relations, Employment Law, and areas supporting compliant Human Resource administration.
