Accountant (Audit and Internal Controls) Finance Managed Services Consultant

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies.

You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value.

Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work You'll Do

As a Project - Consultant, Finance Managed Services on the Finance Managed Services team, you will be responsible for:


* Support financial audit remediation, operational accounting, reporting, and process improvement activities for defense-focused organizations


* Review accounting processes, reconciliations, and internal controls to identify gaps, support remediation, and help sustain audit readiness


* Conduct transaction-level testing and analysis of operational accounting data to identify issues and recommend corrective actions


* Prepare project deliverables, work products, status materials, and documentation to support program execution


* Provide on-site support, collaborate with stakeholders, and track actions needed to meet program priorities and deliverables

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree


* 2+ years of experience supporting financial audit remediation, operational accounting, financial reporting, or process improvement activities


* 2+ years of experience reviewing accounting processes, reconciliations, internal controls, or supporting remediation activities
