View Point Health Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician (Assessment) PACE Detox and GRAN Recovery Center Job Code: HCP051/Social Worker Licensed 2 Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week on average) Job Hours: 8:30 PM 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday with some evening hours required, occasional Saturdays Base Location: Onsite - Kirkland Campus / Covington, GA Division/Department/Program: Residential - SUD Services (PACE Detox & GRAN) Full-time X Part-time PRN Exempt X Nonexempt The Behavioral Health Clinician (Assessment) is a key member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for completing high-quality, timely, and clinically sound biopsychosocial assessments for individuals seeking admission to residential substance use disorder services.

This position supports both PACE Detox (ASAM 3.7) and GRAN Recovery Center (ASAM 3.5) and plays a critical role in determining appropriate level of care, facilitating timely admissions, and ensuring a smooth transition into treatment services.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent engagement skills, and the ability to produce clear, concise, and defensible documentation in a fast-paced environment.

PACE Detox Center is a 24/7 residential withdrawal management program providing medical monitoring and stabilization for individuals experiencing substance withdrawal.

GRAN Recovery Center is a 28-day intensive residential treatment program focused on early recovery, skill-building, and transition planning.

The Behavioral Health Clinician (Assessment) supports access to care, screening, intake, and assessment processes across both programs, ensuring individuals are placed at the appropriate level of care and engaged effectively at the point of entry.

This role requires the ability to quickly establish rapport, gather clinically relevant information, and synthesize findings into a well-structured assessment that supports admission decisions and treatment planning.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment & Clinical Evaluation Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for individuals seeking admission to Detox and Residential SUD services.

Establishes DSM-5 diagnoses and determines appropriate ASAM level of care.

Synthesizes clinical information into clear, concise, and defensible documentation to support admission and treatment decisions.

Demonstrates strong critical thinking in assessing co-occurring mental health, medical, and substance use conditions.

Access to Care & Admissions Support Supports screening and intake processes to ensure timely access to care for individuals seeking services.

Collaborates with Clinical Team Lead, Charge RN, medical providers, and Access staff to facilitate admission decisions.

Assists with coordination of admissions, including gathering required documentation and communicating with referral sources.

Identifies and addresses barriers to admission and works proactively to resolve them.
