Student Worker - Assistant to the Provost

General Job Brief The Student Worker - Assistantto theProvostserves ACU by assisting theprovostoffice in administrative duties, serving as a TA in a class taught by a member of theprovostoffice, and assisting at events (such as graduation).

TheAssistant's primary work station is at the entryway to the ACU faculty area and they serve as a greeter and host for the many visitors to the academic wing of the administration building.

TheAssistantis responsible for keeping student grades confidential and for abiding by FERPA policies.

This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission and vision through the performance of its duties, including person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.

Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as a commitment to ACU's Statement of Faith and Core valuesMust be currently enrolled as a student at ACU.Possess good interpersonal communication skillsAvailable to work up to fifteen hours per weekCurrent student of ACU in good standing - SAP Fair Labor Standards Act This position is part-time, non-exempt for overtime pay provisions as provided by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and any applicable state laws.
