SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Life Recovery Program Manager/Next Steps Manager provides leadership and oversight for the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of the Men's LIFE Recovery and Next Steps Programs.

The Manager leads staff and volunteers, oversees program implementation and client management, and works collaboratively across the ministry to support safety, recovery, spiritual growth, and long-term life transformation.

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that program practices reflect UGM's mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values, Grace Based Ministry philosophy, and established recovery processes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Result Area #1: LIFE Recovery Program Leadership Provide leadership and oversight for the Men's LIFE Recovery Program, including Men's Next Steps and After Care programs and other support services ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with UGM's mission and program expectations.

Supervise and develop LIFE Recovery Counselors, the Vocational Advancement and After Care Coordinator through regular one-on-ones, performance development, annual reviews, and ongoing accountability.

Participate in the interview, hiring, and separation process for LIFE Recovery staff.

Facilitate recovery team and program meetings and provide leadership in addressing program and resident concerns.

Monitor staff training and ensure counselors, vocational/after care staff, interns, and volunteers are appropriately trained and equipped.

Ensure the LIFE Recovery Program integrates Biblical truth, Grace Based Ministry, Genesis, the 12-Step process, and other approved recovery components.Oversee Individual Recovery Plans and monitor resident progress toward identified goals, benchmarks, and phase advancement.

Teach one LIFE Recovery Program class and participate in appropriate residential and community activities.

Ensure staff utilize Waypoint and Outcome Based Management practices, including SMART goals, PDPs, SWOTs, one-on-ones, and other established processes.
