What will you do:

* Lead and execute structural, dynamic, and multiphysics FEM analyses (static, modal, thermal, fatigue, nonlinear, etc.).

* Develop, implement, and maintain Model-Based Design (MBD) architectures using MATLAB/Simulink.

* Build co-simulation environments that integrate FEM outputs into MBD frameworks when needed.

* Partner with design, test, and product engineering teams to correlate simulations with physical testing.

* Document assumptions, boundary conditions, results, and design recommendations in clear technical reports.

* Communicate results to U.S.-based customers and internal stakeholders in clear, fluent English.

* Support design reviews by recommending structural improvements based on analysis findings.

* Contribute to best practices, standard procedures, and simulation automation initiatives within the team.

What will make you successful:

* Proven track record in electromechanical system design and integration, with expertise in both electronic and mechanical components

* Strong technical leadership abilities with experience in cross-functional team environments

* Mastery of multiple specialized skills in electromechanical and electrotechnical domains

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

* Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts

What's in it for you:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis using tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, OptiStruct, or similar.

* Proven experience with Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink (control systems, system-level modeling, or simulation automation).

* Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, material behavior, and multiphysics interactions.

* Fluency in English (spoken and written) for customer communication.

* Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks for geometry preparation, simplification, and design collaboration.

* Experience with scripting or automation (MATLAB, Python).

* Exposure to electromechanical systems, powertrain components, or thermal-structural coupling.

* Familiarity with DOE, optimization, or surrogate modeling.

* Experience collaborating with test labs for simulation/validation correlation.
