Government Financial Specialist, Controllership Manager

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies.

You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value.

Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work you'll do

As a Manager, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for:


* Advising clients on financial operations and financial reporting close activities in accordance with OMB Circular A-136 and OMB Circular A-123, Appendices A through D


* Managing and coaching teams by setting priorities, overseeing day-to-day execution, and reviewing work products against contractual deliverables


* Coordinating with stakeholders on financial statement audits, audit readiness activities, and internal control matters


* Providing financial oversight and reporting support to help clients address compliance, reporting, and operational requirements


* Leading workstreams that support finance transformation, process improvement, and controllership modernization efforts
