What are we looking for?

The Sr.

Staff Engineer-Safety is responsible for providing engineering expertise to evaluate conformance of products to standards, reviewing final evaluation reports, resolving technical and/or administrative issues, and directing and leading technical training and development.

This position is also responsible for technical operations and for communicating with clients, management, accreditors and AHJs.

This position will travel at least 25% of the time.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $125K- $165K.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:


* Develop, lead, and/or support testing, inspection and certification programs.


* Perform field evaluation project work for ETL certification


* Plan, coordinate and control progress of project work and keep the client informed.


* Review project files for compliance with operating procedures.


* Make technical decisions relating to the interpretation of standards, applicability of standards and development of test programs.
