The Opportunity

You will take full ownership of our estimating department, driving the growth and profitability of multi-million-dollar commercial projects.

This role gives you the leadership autonomy to build bids from the ground up while actively shaping our commercial pipeline.

You will join a collaborative environment where every team member shares directly in project success and company operations.

How You Will Make an Impact


* Build accurate estimates and budgets for multi-million-dollar retail and grocery projects without fully developed documents.


* Lead and manage the overall operations of the estimating department with supporting team members.


* Source potential and future commercial work by actively monitoring industry project boards.


* Prepare comprehensive proposals in strict accordance with Instructions to Bidders documents.


* Maintain complete bidding schedules, solicit qualified bidders, and establish detailed cost comparisons.


* Execute both hard bid and negotiated estimating strategies to secure profitable commercial contracts.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Minimum 5 years of experience 


* Proven background as a Commercial Estimator specifically within retail and grocery construction.


* Demonstrated experience preparing budgets for both ground-up builds and renovation projects.


* Strong track record of successfully executing both hard bid and negotiated estimating processes.


* Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage an estimating department independently.


* Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* 10+ years of related work experience in commercial construction estimating.


* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field.
