Key Responsibilities



* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans for carpentry tasks.


* Measure, cut, and shape materials like wood, drywall, and trim using hand and power tools.


* Perform framing (walls, floors, roofs) and finish carpentry (doors, windows, cabinetry, trim).


* Install or repair stairs, flooring, drywall, siding, windows, doors, and related structures.


* Maintain jobsite safety and organization at all times.


* Collaborate with supervisors and fellow crew members to complete construction phases on schedule.


* Use and maintain tools properly; assist with tool inventory and upkeep.


* Document completed work, material use, and time spent daily.


* Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.


* Support a team-first jobsite culture and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications



* 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred.


* High school diploma or GED required.


* Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus.


* Proficiency in using carpentry tools and interpreting blueprints.


* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.


* Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or in a team.


* Physically able to perform construction tasks in various jobsite conditions.


* No certifications or licenses required.
