Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly self-directed Engagement Manager to define expected client outcomes and lead engagement delivery for the InSource Solutions Group Operational Intelligence Practice, a new consulting practice built to help manufacturers convert digital and AI investment into measurable operational and financial results.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who combines manufacturing credibility, consulting discipline, and the ability to turn ambiguous operational problems into structured, fundable paths to value.

The Engagement Manager leads the definition of the client's needs and expected outcomes and leads the delivery of OI Practice engagements, from initial discovery workshops and readiness assessments through execution support and ongoing advisory relationships with clients who retain the Practice past initial delivery.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable walking a plant floor with operators and engineers, leading a working session with senior executives, and running a governance cadence with a retained client months after the first engagement closed.

This is a founding-team role, and its balance between hands-on delivery and client relationship ownership will shift as the Practice matures.

The role suits a builder rather than someone waiting for a mature playbook.

Success requires strong facilitation, structured problem solving, project leadership, executive communication, and strong OT/IT fluency to be credible in both operational and leadership settings.

Key Responsibilities Client Engagement Leadership Lead the definition of the client's problems, desired outcomes, and success measures for the OI Practice and for broader InSource Solutions Group pursuits when required.Lead OI Practice engagements, including scope, workplan, stakeholder alignment, risk, quality, and outcome delivery.Serve as the day-to-day client lead across operators, technical teams, functional leaders, and executive sponsors.Bring structure to unstructured situations and move work forward with limited oversight.Deliver engagements efficiently and within agreed scope and budget.
