Your Job

Primary IT Strategy leader for the GP Packaging business (Corrugated, Containerboard and Recycling) with ownership & accountability to business outcomes enabled by technology both through direct teams and other IT capability teams.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership for key business commercial systems and other digital platforms supporting Georgia Pacific's Corrugated, Containerboard and Recycling businesses.

The position owns the strategy and will partner with the Packaging Delivery Leader on the delivery, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the core systems and all other edge systems spanning order management, supply chain, logistics and invoicing.

The leader serves as a primary technology partner to the business, accountable for translating business strategy and regulatory obligations into scalable, reliable, and cost effective technology solutions.

The role balances hands on technical depth with people leadership, vendor management, and executive level decision support, applying PBM principles to drive long term value creation.

What You Will Do


* Own the digital strategy for the commercial systems that support the Corrugated, Containerboard and Recycling business key initiatives


* Partner with the Packaging Delivery leader on end to end technical delivery and sustainment of core and edge commercial systems that support the Corrugated, Containerboard and Recycling businesses


* Build relationships and trust along with effectiveness in influencing partners (across business and technology) to advance and enable shared outcomes


* Provide architectural and technical oversight across development, integration, security, infrastructure, and application support.

Communicate effectively to business partners, IT Teams and leadership on status, risks and roadblocks, and aid team members to overcome obstacles


* Translate business needs, operational risks, and regulatory deadlines into clear delivery plans, trade off decisions, and investment recommendations and partner with Delivery leader to execute against a prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business objectives


* Serve as the single point of accountability for digital driven value delivery within scope, simplifying engagement and accelerating outcomes.

Conduct direct engagement with vendors for issue resolutions, enhancements and escalations
