Job Summary

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and support of all equipment on site.

This could involve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, as well as building maintenance.

This role involves using basic hand and power tools, and reading schematics, diagrams, or basic sketches.

Job Responsibilities



* Diagnose equipment problems


* Troubleshoot systems and make necessary adjustments, corrections or repairs


* Call-in and coordinate outside repairs if needed


* Mentor and train lesser trained team members and assist in their advancement


* Ability to lift 40 pounds and walk or stand most of the shift and be able to work overtime as needed


* Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules


* Make repairs in a timely fashion


* Work and perform safely with knowledge of OSHA standard industrial safety practices

Job Requirements



* Must have equipment maintenance background


* Welding preferred


* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

* Minimum requirement is high school graduate and post-secondary technical trade certificates desirable


* Five (5) or more year's plant / equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmen
