At Hayward Gardens Post Acute, CNAs play an essential role in providing daily hands-on care and supporting residents' individualized care plans under the direction of licensed nursing staff and supervisors.

Position Details


* Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


* Status: Part-Time


* Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday


* Shift: AM


* Hours: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM


* Pay Rate: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Essential Responsibilities


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.


* Provide compassionate and respectful hands-on care.


* Assist residents with transfers, mobility, positioning, and ambulation.


* Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff.


* Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.


* Assist with meals and encourage proper hydration and nutrition.


* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.


* Accurately document care provided according to facility policies.


* Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.

Qualifications


* Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.


* Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
