NHC HealthCare Dickson is seeking a dependable Part-Time Laundry team member to support a clean, comfortable environment for our patients and residents by ensuring linens and personal items are properly processed and returned.
Position Responsibilities


* Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing according to established procedures.


* Operate laundry equipment safely and appropriately.


* Maintain separation of clean and soiled items.


* Label, organize, and return patient and resident personal clothing as required.


* Maintain a clean and orderly laundry area.


* Monitor supplies and report equipment or supply needs.


* Follow infection control, safety, sanitation, and NHC procedures.


* Assist with additional environmental-services duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.


* Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.


* Previous laundry, housekeeping, or health care experience is preferred but not required.


* Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
