As a Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Kinexys team in the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will define and drive the technical target state for key products and capabilities.

You will work side-by-side with engineering teams to design, build, and evolve secure and resilient solutions that meet business needs today while preparing for future growth.

You will leverage enterprise-authorized artificial intelligence capabilities to accelerate architecture discovery and decision-making, applying strong human-in-the-loop validation and careful handling of sensitive data.

Job responsibilities


* Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs


* Define the technical target state of your product and drive achievement of the strategy


* Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture discovery and decisioning, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data


* Evaluate recommendations and provide feedback on new technologies, including outcomes-oriented evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and applicability within existing systems and information


* Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems


* Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others


* Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems


* Establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across software development life cycle and toolchain practices, ensuring traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability


* Proficiency across software development life cycle execution, including automation and continuous delivery practices and agile methods such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), application resiliency, and security
