Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our Projects & Services Business Controller team in Katy, TX.

In this role, you'll partner directly with operations and business leaders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

We're looking for a highly motivated problem-solver with strong accounting knowledge, sound economic thinking, and a passion for creating value through collaboration and transformation.

You'll have the opportunity to influence business outcomes, improve financial processes, and gain broad exposure to project-based operations within a growing organization.

What You Will Do



* Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and well-supported account balances.


* Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting that enables business leaders to make informed decisions.


* Partner with operations and business leaders to understand performance drivers, anticipate business needs, and identify opportunities for improvement.


* Strengthen the internal control environment by promoting sound financial stewardship and compliance.


* Support internal and external audit activities, including site-level reviews and compliance assessments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Experience in an accounting or finance-focused role requiring knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.


* Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis, and formula creation).


* Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences.

What Will Put You Ahead



* Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.


* ERP experience.


* Construction industry experience.


* Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).


* Experience leveraging generative AI to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
