About the Role:
The RN Evening Shift Supervisor provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for the nursing team during the evening shift.

This role ensures appropriate staffing, supports nursing staff in delivering quality care, and coordinates communication between residents, families, physicians, and nursing leadership.

The Evening Supervisor plays an important role in maintaining smooth operations across the community and supporting nursing staff in responding to resident needs, clinical concerns, and unexpected situations.

Job Summary:
Provides monitoring and supervision of all functions necessary to promote quality care to all residents on the shift.

Essential Functions:

Treats all information about residents, their condition, and family as well as personnel matters as confidential information.

Complies with established Corporate and Departmental policies and procedures, and maintains established standards and practices.

Responsible for appropriate staffing to provide proper care to residents; including replacement of call-offs while on duty or reappropriation of scheduled staff.

Works with and assists the attending physicians in the delivery of care to residents, and oversees preparation of residents' charts for physician visits.

Observes, assesses, evaluates and monitors resident health problems.
