Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:


* Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents


* Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities


* Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards


* Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist


* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment


* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes


* Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:


* Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Tennessee


* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
