NHC HealthCare Dickson is seeking a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team.

This role provides hands-on nursing care while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.

Position Responsibilities


* Provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders, established plans of care, and applicable nursing standards.


* Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.


* Observe, evaluate, and report changes in patient or resident condition.


* Complete required nursing documentation accurately and on time.


* Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, patients, residents, and families.


* Assist in implementing individualized plans of care.


* Provide direction and support to nursing assistants as appropriate.


* Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and NHC policies and procedures.


* Promote a compassionate, respectful, and supportive care environment.

Qualifications


* Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Tennessee.


* Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.


* Graduate Nurses (GNs) and Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs) are encouraged to apply.


* Current CPR certification as required.


* Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
