Position Summary

As a Janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of our facility.

Your efforts help create a comfortable and healing environment where residents feel at home and families feel confident in the care we provide.
Essential Responsibilities


* Maintain cleanliness throughout resident rooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other facility spaces.


* Sanitize high-touch surfaces and adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.


* Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste appropriately.


* Assist with laundry-related duties as needed.


* Support event setup and breakdown for resident activities and facility functions.


* Monitor facility areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.


* Report repair needs, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly.


* Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications


* Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.


* Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety practices.


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


* Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.


* Professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents, families, and team members.


* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull equipment, and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
