Position Summary Stock and handle products, perform cleaning duties, and maximize customer satisfaction.

Primary Job Responsibilities Receiving, Stocking and Handling Products Receive and check-in deliveries, lifting and organizing containers weighing up to 50 pounds Verify accuracy by comparing shipment to written order and report discrepancies in deliveriesVerify shelf tags (accurate, readable)Face stock (front label facing out), bending and stretching as needed to reach shelves at ground level or higherRemove dated, damaged, spoiled productsMaintain storeroom and cooler stock neatly and orderlyLift and organize cases of milk and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds one or more times a shift (in the cooler area, on the sales floor and outside)Bend and scoop hard ice cream from bulk containers for preparation of conesLift and count returnable bottles and cans, stack neatly in designated areaCut and collapse empty boxesHandle open products appropriately and according to health regulationsRotate and replenish merchandise in the coolers, backroom and sales floorClean display cases, shelves, equipment, glass/windows, doors and aisles.When needed, help carry customer purchases to their vehicle.Assist with cleaning and shoveling the outside areaEmpty and clean trash containers, inside and out.Cooperate with other store and company personnelDemonstrate a respect for employees and the companyReport to work as scheduled and in appropriate company uniformComplete training assignmentsCommunicate concerns to managementFollow through on assigned tasks, demonstrate urgency in completionMaintain confidentiality of store personnel and operationsAccurately punch in and out in Kronos time keeping systemKnow and follow policies and proceduresMaximize Customer Satisfaction and Sales ImprovementGreet Customers and provide quick, friendly serviceSuggest additional and promotional itemsCustomer Service Plus OneHandle customers questions, complaints, quickly and appropriately or refer to CSR or ManagementPromote the use and benefits of the QD Loyalty Card Safety and Security Ensure internal and external store areas are kept free of safety hazardsCorrect and report any safety or security violations, concerns, etc.
