THRIFT STORE SHIFT SUPERVISOR The Family Thrift Store Shift Supervisor presents an exciting opportunity for a result-orientated individual to support the mission of Life Network.

We seek a self-starter, who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys multitasking, and embraces the physical aspects of receiving and processing donated goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES Warmly greet donors and accept donationsEnsure a positive donor experienceEfficiently process and sort donated itemsEnsure donated items meet FTS standards for quality and suitabilityPrice merchandise items appropriately and prepare for placement on the sales floorProvide excellent customer service to shoppers, offering assistance and maintaining a welcoming atmosphereProvide clear direction and guidance to volunteers on behalf of the FTS DirectorFoster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, cooperation, and commitment to FTS goalsWork on the sales floor, operate the cash register, and ensure adherence to opening and closing proceduresMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including restocking shelves and tidying display areasParticipation by all staff is required at Life Networks major events EXPERIENCE High school graduate1 year of supervisory experience requiredPrevious retail experience highly preferred QUALIFICATIONS Strong advocate for the sanctity of life issuesPossesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional lifeActive commitment to a local churchA passion for the ministry accomplished through Life NetworkDemonstrates qualities of initiative, teamwork, and goal orientatedCapable of supervising, leading, and engaging volunteers effectively, fostering a supportive and collaborative environmentEnjoys interaction with the public, providing courteous and helpful service to donors and customersAbility and willingness to be flexible and adaptable in unpredictable situationsCapable of lifting 50-75 lbs.

and performing physical tasks associated with donation handling and store maintenanceHold a valid drivers license with a clean record, able to meet transportation needs as required by the position CLASSIFICATION Full-time 40 hours per week.

Pay range: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.

Scheduled hours are Monday through Saturday.

Reports to the Thrift Store Manager.
