What you'll do


* Oversee daily operations of the dietary department


* Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff


* Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident dietary needs


* Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation


* Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards


* Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs


* Work closely with nursing and other departments to meet resident needs


* Address resident concerns and promote excellent customer service


* Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation


* Ensure department policies and regulatory requirements are followed

What we're looking for


* Dietary management or healthcare food service experience


* Strong leadership and organizational skills


* Excellent communication and teamwork


* Commitment to food safety, quality, and resident satisfaction


* ServSafe Level 2 Food Manager Certification required
