We are searching for the best talent for Payroll Specialist (fixed-term).

Position Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting end-to-end payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for employees in Korea.

This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, external payroll vendors, and government authorities to maintain payroll integrity, statutory compliance, and employee satisfaction while supporting ongoing payroll initiatives and process improvements.

[Responsibilities]

Payroll Operations


* Process monthly payroll activities, including payroll calculation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.


* Support payroll-related transactions including severance payments, retirement pension settlements, and other employee compensation matters.


* Review payroll data for accuracy and completeness while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.


* Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.

Tax & Social Insurance Administration


* Manage statutory payroll activities including income tax, resident tax, national pension, health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance.


* Prepare and validate payroll-related tax filings and social insurance submissions.


* Ensure compliance with applicable Korean labor, payroll, and tax regulations.

Off-boarding Support


* Manage final payroll activities for terminated employees, including severance calculations, retirement pension administration, and relevant documentation.
