Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a LATAM Occ upational Health Lead, located in Grecia, Costa Rica.

The LATAM Occ upational Health Lead is responsible for leading occupational health strategy, programs, and services for DePuy Synthes in Costa Rica , while providing regional oversight .

This role ensures employee health, safety, and well‑being through compliant, high‑quality occupational health practices aligned with global standards and local regulatory requirements.

The position plays a critical role in supporting workforce safety , risk management, and business continuity in a regulated manufacturing and corporate environment, while serving as a trusted advisor to site and regional leaders.

Key Responsibilities



* Lead and implement the LATAM occupational health strategy, programs and services in alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements.



* Oversee and manage occupational health vendor and healthcare provider relationships and contracts, ensuring high-quality service delivery, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.



* Provide subject ‑ matter expertise and guidance on occupational health and well-being programs, policies, and practices.



* Partner with EHS, FM (E&PS), HR, and business leaders to identify , assess and mitigate workplace health risks.



* Ensure compliance with occupational health legislation, medical surveillance, psychosocial risk assessments, reporting, and documentation requirements across the region.



* Support injury and illness management, return ‑ to ‑ work, and workplace accommodation programs.



* Analyze occupational health data and trends to inform prevention strategies and continuous improvement.



* Contribute to regional and global initiatives related to employee health, well ‑ being, and prevention.



* Serve on local/regional Crisis Management Teams.
