We are searching for the best talent for a Calibration Technician in San Angelo, TX.

This position is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a union environment and the hourly rate is $28.34/hr

The Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring continued support for all aspects of the site related to Calibrations operations.

Lead the execution of equipment/instruments calibrations (as assigned).

Support any calibration needs within the site.

Responsibilities:


* Make critical decisions effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.


* Document all equipment service activities, repairs, and modifications accurately within the Equipment Maintenance Logbook.


* Work effectively to meet project deadlines and complete breakdown maintenance activities in a timely manner.


* Maintain calibration records in a neat, accurate, and organized manner.


* Demonstrate a strong understanding of instruments and instrument systems, including the ability to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct recalibrations as required.


* Perform emergency repairs, routine calibrations, preventive maintenance, and scheduled maintenance activities on instruments, components, and complete instrumented systems.


* Utilize drawings, sketches, diagrams, tables, specifications, and technical handbooks to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain instruments and instrumented systems.


* Connect and disconnect electrical connections, pneumatic fittings, and hydraulic fittings associated with instruments and components within control loops.
