Purpose: The Associate Engineer, R&D Technical Operations, will provide hands-on engineering support and apply fundamental engineering skills to assist other engineers and scientists to support new product development.

You will:


* Design and build small fixtures, test rigs and lead small projects


* Trouble shoot and repair equipment, support Pilot Line scale-up activities and modify equipment to support new product development


* Test and evaluate new technologies required for new product development


* Work closely with vendors and assist in the supervision of sub-contractors to install, relocate and decommission equipment in R&D and the Pilot Facility.


* Evaluate current processes and equipment and make recommendations to improve product quality, efficiency, yield and safe


* Provide hands‑on engineering support for R&D activities: set up prototypes, execute experiments, collect and analyze test data, and support design verification
