We are searching for the best talent for Mandrel Polish Operator .

Purpose: Responsible for using equipment for the assembly and processing tasks to produce finished products according to established specifications.

Accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines .

You will be responsible for:



* Operates mandrel polishing equipment to produce production tools.


* Interprets instructions and specifications and uses to set up equipment.


* Cleans and maintains equipment daily.


* Assists with basic maintenance of tools or equipment and advises supervisor, shift/team leader and area technician when tools or equipment need maintenance or repairs.


* Prepares accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress.


* Troubleshoots minor production problems.


* Performs heat treating, surface polishing and machine assembly of mandrels.


* Picks up and delivers mandrels to the Shell Fabrication department.

Track location and quantity of mandrels in production.


* Sands mandrels on polishing machines and/or by hand.


* Repairs existing mandrels using buffers.


* Numbers repaired or new incoming mandrels and keep accurate records of mandrel inventory.


* Washes, sand blasts, and inspects mandrels.


* Monitors and responds to equipment and process issues that may lead to non-compliance.


* Accountable for adhering to and enforcing all quality and safety guidelines.

Identifies and elevates all immediate and potential quality, safety, or environmental issues (material, procedure, and process) as observed.
