DevOps Engineer - Shockwave Medical to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA.

Ready to join a team that's pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease.

Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer who will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation tools and processes that enable rapid, reliable, and scalable software development and deployment.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as the ability to integrate these elements seamlessly within our R&D ecosystem.

Experience working with IoT and embedded systems is preferred.

Essential Job Functions


* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using best practices in software development (e.g., Agile methodologies) and IT infrastructure management.


* Automate the software delivery pipeline through configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible or Salt, containerization technologies like Podman, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
