Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is opening a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility in Mendota Heights-and we're looking for an Automation Maintenance Technician who wants to be part of something from day one.

What You'll Do
As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our advanced manufacturing systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably from the very start.

In this role, you will:


* Support a safe, high-performance workplace by following safety and environmental standards


* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across automated equipment


* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize uptime


* Document maintenance activity within our CMMS system


* Help establish and maintain a critical spare-parts inventory strategy


* Support startup activities, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives


* Expand your skills through ongoing training, certifications, and exposure to advanced automation technologies

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, highly technical, and part of building something new from the ground up.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
We're looking for technicians who are curious, collaborative, and energized by modern automation environments.

Preferred qualifications:


* Associate degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Millwright, or Instrumentation & Controls (or equivalent hands-on experience)


* 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment


* Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs (especially Allen-Bradley systems)


* Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills


* Comfort working with Excel, Word, and Outlook


* A proactive mindset and desire to help shape maintenance systems in a new facility

What We Offer
Hourly Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 (DOE)
Bonus: Up to 5% quarterly bonus potential
