IC Auditor, Am Shift
Position Summary: An IC Auditor is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse by conducting inventory validations, discrepancy investigations, and inventory auditing activities on food products.
This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring inventory records align with physical product locations and quantities within the warehouse management system.
The IC Auditor works closely with warehouse operations, receiving, quality control, and leadership teams to identify inventory discrepancies, research variances, and support corrective actions while maintaining compliance with company procedures and operational standards.
Responsibilities: Conduct inventory count validations and audits within assigned warehouse areas.
Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and bin audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Review system-generated inventory tasks and complete follow-up investigations as needed.
Research inventory discrepancies and identify potential inventory inaccuracies or process issues.
Validate product quantities, locations, lot codes, expiration dates, and inventory movements within warehouse systems.
Respond to ad hoc inventory requests from Operations and cross-functional business partners.
Utilize handheld scanners, RF devices, and WMS systems to document and validate inventory findings.
Maintain and monitor BIRR activities and other inventory review processes requiring additional product investigation.
Escalate unresolved inventory concerns and communicate findings appropriately to leadership.
Assist with inventory adjustments and reconciliation processes in accordance with company procedures.
Support warehouse organization and inventory integrity initiatives throughout operational areas.
Identify process improvement opportunities that support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate audit documentation, reports, and inventory records.
Follow all food safety, quality assurance, GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety standards.
Work collaboratively with warehouse operations, receiving, quality control, and leadership teams to resolve inventory-related concerns.
Perform additional inventory control and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Prior inventory control, warehouse, auditing, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or handheld inventory devices preferred.
Basic computer and data entry skills required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout warehouse areas for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and move products within company established guidelines, with or without reasonable accommodation.
