About Bridgerland Technical College Bridgerland Technical College is one of eight technical colleges in Utah.

What You'll Do As a Part-Time Maker Space Service Technician, you'll provide technical assistance, equipment support, and exceptional customer service while helping maintain a safe, innovative, and welcoming maker space.

You'll work closely with students, entrepreneurs, faculty, staff, and community members to support creative projects and business development.

In this role, you will: Assist students, entrepreneurs, businesses, and community members with projects, equipment, and technical questions.

Provide one-on-one instruction and small-group training on makerspace equipment and software.

Develop and update equipment training materials and instructional resources.

Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and perform basic upkeep on makerspace equipment.

Teach safe operating procedures and promote best practices for equipment use.

Support prototyping, product development, fabrication, and creative projects.

Give tours of the facility and educate visitors about available resources and services.

Assist with workshops, demonstrations, community events, and outreach activities.

Support marketing efforts through community engagement, social media, and promotional events.

Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve services, workflows, and the customer experience.

Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional makerspace environment.

Recommend improvements to equipment, processes, and facility operations.

Support the Bridgerland Entrepreneurship Center's mission of helping innovators and businesses grow.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
